The main functions of stainless steel chains include mechanical transmission, traction and hoisting.
The stainless steel chain reduces friction through the design of hyperbolic arcs, and is particularly suitable for occasions with high power and slow speed, such as water tanks, pneumatic compressors, etc. Due to its low flexibility, the transmission speed cannot be too fast.
Stainless steel chains are widely used in many fields: Construction industry: When building high-rise buildings, stainless steel chains are used to hoist equipment and bear heavy objects. In addition, it is also used to set up external fences of buildings, place warning signs, etc. Industrial field: Stainless steel chains are used for loading and unloading heavy objects, transmission and conveying equipment supporting parts. Agricultural field: Farmers use stainless steel chains to tie objects and pull heavy objects. They are also used in fisheries, forestry and other fields, such as fixing fishing nets and pulling stones. Daily life: Stainless steel chains are also used for clothes drying chains, pet dog chains and swing chains. Clothes chains are suitable for use in humid environments due to their corrosion resistance and high strength; pet dog chains are safe and reliable with strong corrosion resistance; swing chains can withstand large tension and weight and are suitable for long-term outdoor use.
There are two main materials for stainless steel chains:
Austenitic stainless steel chain series: such as 304, 316 and 316L, etc., have excellent corrosion resistance and are suitable for acid and alkali environments and high and low temperature occasions from -40°C to 600°C. Among them, 316L has better anti-magnetic properties, adaptability to harsh temperatures and chemical corrosion resistance.
Martensitic stainless steel chain series: such as 2Cr13, etc., have appropriate corrosion resistance and the same strength as carbon steel.
These characteristics make stainless steel chains perform well in various applications and meet the needs of different fields.
