304 stainless steel wire rope chuck is mainly used for temporary connection and fixation of wire rope, and is suitable for a variety of scenarios, including the fixation of the back hand rope when the wire rope is passed through the pulley group, the fixation of the rope head of the cable wind rope on the grab bar, etc.
Scope of application
304 stainless steel wire rope chuck is suitable for various types of wire ropes such as phosphate coated wire rope, galvanized wire rope, stainless steel wire rope and smooth wire rope. It is widely used in lifting and hoisting operations to ensure the safe and reliable connection and fixation of wire ropes.
Instructions and precautions
When selecting a chuck, the inner clearance of the U-shaped ring should be 1 to 3 mm larger than the diameter of the wire rope to ensure that the chuck can tightly clamp the wire rope to prevent loosening.
When putting on the chuck, be sure to tighten the bolts until the wire rope is flattened by 1/3 to 1/4 of the diameter, and tighten again after the wire rope is stressed to ensure the firmness and reliability of the joint.
The clamps should be arranged in a straight line, and the U-shaped part should be in contact with the rope head, but not with the main rope, to prevent the main rope from being easily broken when it is flattened and stressed.
In order to check whether the joint is reliable and whether the wire rope is slipping, another clamp can be installed about 500mm behind the last clamp, and the rope head can be released into a "safety bend".
Through the above methods and precautions, the safety and reliability of the 304 stainless steel wire rope clamp can be ensured during use.
